Dimensional Inspection Services (DIS) was established in 1998 and was originally based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. Since then, DIS relocated to Wombourne in the West Midlands.
The company was set up to offer the use of an Independent Quality Department/inspection facility to companies that may not have the facility to carry out this type of inspection. In some cases, companies that do have their own facilities may not have the man power needed to complete various inspection activities required of them and therefore could make use of the services on offer.
The Inspection Department at DIS is fully equipped with both Contact and Non-Contact machines with a working envelope between 5 microns and 800mm. Any component in any material within this range can be accurately measured at DIS.
We can supply inspection reports as part of your PPAP commitments. Capability studies can also be carried out along with CNC programming. All of which is carried out on a fully independent basis.
