Capability Studies
A number of PPAP requirements require a capability study carrying out on certain dimensions. This study request may be required on a specific number such as 25 or 50 components. This can be completed by DIS efficiently as we possess CNC programming software on our Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
The CNC Program is created whilst the first component is measured then the remaining quantity of 24 or 49 parts are then run off. CNC will significantly reduce the inspection time and subsequent cost due to its automated nature.
